The Iron Mermaid is a salvage ship operated by Jexler & Young Salvage Company and Deep Sea Exploration and Retrieval out of Katapesh. It is frequently deployed near the city of Katapesh to follow any rumors of sunken ships or drowned treasure. It is captained by either Darg Jexler or Wilbur Young, the two owners of the company that operates the Iron Mermaid.1
