Kayle

Lady Kayle was an adventurer from Taldor who sacrificed herself in battle against the dragon warlord Maejerex Steeleye on the Isle of Kortos in 4592 AR. Her sacrifice enabled her companions to end the dragon's reign of terror.¹²³

Background

After uniting the factions in the Kortos Mounts, Maejerex terrorized the island's inhabitants before falling in battle against a band of adventurers led by Kayle, who sacrificed herself so that the battle could be won.¹² At least one statue and shrine in Kayle's honor exists in the Kortos Mounts.¹
