The now-disbanded Knights of Salvation was a monastic order that sought to rescue those who survived the initial onslaught of the Eye of Abendego. Its members served bravely in the Sodden Lands for nearly 30 years, creating the network of way stations known as the Abendego Piercing to aid them in their mission. Eventually, when it was assumed that there was nobody left to rescue, the order disbanded.[1]
