Larisa is a cambion1 sorcerer who arrived at the tainted Red Rune Canyon into the Tusk Mountains in 4713 AR. Using blasphemous sacrifices at each new moon, she gained control of the glyphs inscribed by the canyon. Each time she called forth a new symbol and siphoned power from the distant Worldwound. She planned to bend the canyon into her grand final rune to excise her remaining mortal blood and metamorphose into a full demon.2
The reshaping of the Red Rune Canyon weakened the barriers between Golarion and the Outer Rifts. Each of Larisa's rituals forced a new gate open for a few seconds which oozed demons out into the Tusk Mountains.3
As of 4713 AR, Larisa had recently been recruited by the Mendevian cell of the Seal-Breakers.4
