This article covers the type of demon. For the type of planar scion also known as tieflings, see cambion.

Cambions are the result of the unholy union between an incubus and a non-demonic humanoid woman, but only if she spends her entire pregnancy in the Outer Rifts. The energies of that plane infuse the foetus and cause her to always give birth to a male cambion instead of a half-fiend. These offspring are born in the Outer Rifts as infants, inherently different from all other demons created fully formed from evil shades.
