Captain Linus Halfclasper commanded the Chelish merchant ship, the Impdrake, which sunk off the Lady's Cape in far-southwestern Varisia. In a drunken stupor, the captain mistook the Lady's Light for one of the lighthouses of Magnimar, and ran his ship aground on the shoals there. His spirit, along with those of seven of his crew, could not find rest, and reanimated as undead soon thereafter.
