Mauril Breakwater is one of the pirate lords of Raketooth, the second largest port on Shark Island in the Shackles. Mauril is the captain of the frigate Banshee's Wail. The pirate lords Mauril Breakwater and "Baron" Venigo Palpathe, maintain the relative peace of Raketooth by providing tribute to the nearby sedacthy1 tribes.2
