Meta:Frost goblin

(I'm reposting the following paragraph from Meta:Snow goblin): In Pathfinder First Edition, snow goblins are a creature introduced in The Shackled Hut. In Pathfinder Second Edition, it's not clear that the term "snow goblin" exists within the Pathfinder campaign setting any longer; it is the mechanic name of a character option for the goblin ancestry, while the lore text in Character Guide, Travel Guide, and Fists of the Ruby Phoenix uses the term "frost goblin" to refer to such characters from an in-setting perspective, so it's likely that PF1E's snow goblin creatures have been 'retconned' to be members of PF2E's frost goblin ethnicity. --Descriptivist (talk) 02:10, 3 October 2024 (UTC)
