Warder-Chief Mpondo is the leader of the Iobane group of magi guardians of the Doorway to the Red Star deep in the heart of the Mwangi Expanse. The group is dedicated to keeping outsiders from reaching the ancient artifact. They see themselves as the spiritual successors of the legendary Ten Magic Warriors.1
