Bakenekos are cats who have lived beyond their natural lifespans and gained beast-like intelligence, including the ability to wield magic.1

Variants

  • Nekomata: Known as "evil bakenekos" in stories; larger in size with a bite that infects its victim with a mind-affecting disease.1
