Ontologies of Self is a compilation of the writings of the Drumish prophet Kalistrade completed in 251 AR, a year before his disappearance.✝ After Kalistrade disappeared, his followers split into factions that differently interpreted, annotated, and expanded upon the Ontologies until the discovery of Kalistrade's tomb in 408 AR.

A pilgrimage to the tomb led the factions to Kalistrade's preserved body and soul in a personal afterlife, where they communed with him over five days to reconcile their differences. After a year of conventions to curate their works and incorporate them with the Ontologies, Kalistrade's followers produced the Prophecies of Kalistrade, a work that formed the foundation of the religion by that name.
