The Kortos Cavalry, based out of Absalom's Sally Gate, is the city's only land-based mounted unit. In addition to patrolling the entire Isle of Kortos or being assigned to city-business overseas, these knights also patrol the city's Westgate district. While doing so they are called the Sally Guard.123
Members are required to wear steel armor and wield the sword and lance. Beyond that, membership is open to anyone.2
