Sabin Turshaw is a busker and con man who entertains crowds in the cities of Varisia while his youthful companions, Marlan and Shevy Grindsmord, lighten the pockets of his audience. His group travels between Korvosa, Magnimar, and Riddleport, staying only long enough to make some coin, but not long enough for thieves' guilds or the authorities to become aware of their activities. The three avoid direct confrontation whenever possible, but are not afraid to fight should they be cornered.
