The young Pharaoh Sekhemib I came of age and ascended the throne as pharaoh of Osirion in -1756 AR. This was the year following that in which the crown regent, Kemusar I, was murdered in his sleep, -1757 AR, rumours abounded at the time that Kemusar was murdered by Sekhemib himself.
