Snallygaster
Snallygaster
(Creature)
Snallygasters are avian creatures physically distinguished by their batlike wings, horned heads, and a single, cyclopean eye. They feed on blood, which they consume by subduing prey and exsanguinating them through the cluster of squirming tentacles they possess instead of a tongue. They also crave alcohol, and often inebriate themselves by eating large quantities of fermented fruit.1
Female snallygasters lay one to two eggs every year, and do not need to mate with a male to do so.1
