Talk:Animal companion

Until today, animal companion's {See also} template contained a link to spirit animal. The list is kind of comically crowded and only likely to expand with future Pathfinder releases, so today I removed spirit animal from the list. --Descriptivist (talk) 22:47, 24 August 2024 (UTC)

In PF2e's Howl of the Wild, a swarmkeeper has a special bonded ally, a swarm of insects. Although PF2e defines that a construct companion or undead companion is a "companion", HotW actually never states that the swarm is a "companion", much less an animal companion.
