Folding "Abilities" into general description

As has been mentioned before, I'd like to start merging the "abilities" of creatures into their general description, to give our entries a more "IC" flavor. My question which follows, is what do we call this category? At the moment it's called "Appearance", but this will no longer be accurate when we add in abilities. In this particular case, I called it "Description", but that seems a bit too general. I had also thought of "General Description", but that didn't sit too well with me either. What does everyone think? --brandingopportunity 15:17, December 27, 2009 (UTC)

It could go in ecology if appearance doesn't seem like the right place. It should be handled on a case-by-case basis but I don't think we should make a new header to accommodate abilities, as that's what we're trying to eliminate. —yoda8myhead 19:36, December 27, 2009 (UTC)
When I was looking at this originally for the tatzlwyrm, I looked at the Great white wikipedia article. Looking at different real animals and how their abilities and limitations are portrayed helped me to locate where to put the abilities of the Golarion creature's abilities... -- Cpt kirstov 14:48, December 28, 2009 (UTC)
I think for the most part abilities will generally belong in the habitat & ecology section though if the ability has a prominent appearance, like skin dripping with poison then it probably belongs with appearance, as Yoda8myhead said case by case is probably the best way to go. I also think that perhaps not every ability needs to be mentioned as some are purely game affecting with little way to describe them in fluff terms--Cheddar bearer 13:23, December 29, 2009 (UTC)

Just a shoutout to the editors of B3

I gotta say, if you have a copy of Bestiary 3, you gotta check out the text setting on the doru entry on page 68. Beautiful curve around the horns of the doru. Absolutely lovely. CadeHerrig (talk) 03:11, 14 September 2021 (UTC)
