Completed updates

Hey pretty much finished the article but was thinking of maybe adding a separate society section as ghouls are intelligent and do have their own fully fledged societies in the depths of the Darklands. It would also be a good place to include some of the info from Into the Darklands that hasn't been added yet. Was wondering if everyone thinks this would be worth while or if it should be left as is? Similarly I was thinking that it might be worth swamping the art in the info box for the (in my opinion) cooler looking piece that is embedded further down the page. The ghoul article is the perfect place to include a section on ghoul society, giving an overview of their communities in general, their languages, customs, religion, etc. and then describing specific examples and linking to the larger articles on each. I can't think of a better place for such information. As for the art, feel free to use as much or as little of it as you see fit. —Yoda8myhead 20:51, 11 January 2011 (UTC)

This makes me very happy. I've been meaning to work on this article for quite a while. I agree that a society section would be great. As for the art, I agree that the cartoony one should be replaced. I'd actually suggest File:Skinsaw_Murders_cover_detail.jpg since the ghouls themselves are a bit more visible (also, it's safely in my top 5 pieces of art to be published in a Paizo product, so I may be biased). It would also be great if we could fit in File:Scarecrow_ghouls.jpg since it isn't currently featured on any other page. FTR, the two images I've linked plus the cartoon and the Carrion Hill image are what we have for ghouls. This article is on a fast-track to be a featured article... Cool added all the art and the society section. It was a bit hard telling what belonged in the Society section and what should go in the Nemret Noktoria page. They may end up being a bit of overlap but not too much hopefully.--Cheddar bearer 22:41, 13 January 2011 (UTC)

Variants

I've taken the unusual step of reintroducing a (mine, I think) previous edit here. I don't think a solid paragraph of text including all the variants is very readable so I have re-typed the sub-headings in that section. Among other things, I had a number of articles linking to (for instance) ghoul#ghast so removing the sub-heading presumbaly messed that up.--Amethal2 23:53, 6 February 2011 (UTC)
