Talk:Gokan Saddle
New name in TXWG?
Tian Xia World Guide never uses the term "Gokan Saddle" but does describe a Gokan Valley on page 75. It is not clearly defined, but based on context it is likely referring to the same area as "Gokan Saddle" in Dragon Empires Gazetteer. -Ravenstone (talk) 07:59, 12 March 2025 (UTC)
- TXWG 75 describes the Gokan Valley as the fertile inland area of Goka, and DEG describes the Saddle specifically as the gap in the Wall of Heaven, overlooked by the Wall of Lamjung and the separate Lamjung Pass. Neither work provides a useful map to place either location.
- I'm not inclined to agree that Gokan Valley represents a name change unless there's an independent canon clarification, and neither source is particularly useful in defining either feature. I'd consider moving the Saddle's Map feature east into the actual borderland gap between Goka and Lingshen, but that's about it. -Oznogon (talk) 00:06, 13 March 2025 (UTC)
