What is a Death effect

In the pathfinder universe, what is a death effects? It’s not immune to Death trait? So how do death knell work and why do nindoru resist it? —-Stejo (talk) 15:04, 13 June 2024 (UTC)

Some spells and abilities can kill you immediately or bring you closer to death without needing to reduce you to 0 Hit Points first. AoN. How you describe that in in-universe terms is up to you and will depend on the context of the ability as long as you don't refer to mechanical elements such as hit points.
