On Dragon Empires Gazetteer 39, Tianjing was described as being ruled by Onishi Kazujun, a cleric devoted to Shelyn, with the title First Speaker of the Council. Neither Kazujun nor the First Speaker title are mentioned in any other canon source, including Tian Xia World Guide, which also does not describe any succession from a previous ruler to Etsul Genpo. Onishi Kazujun's present and past canon states are unknown barring canon clarification, and his complete omission from subsequent canon works and especially Tian Xia World Guide might indicate retroactive changes in or removal from the setting. -Oznogon (talk) 21:40, 26 October 2024 (UTC)

Council

Dragon Empires Gazetteer did not name the council of elders led by Onishi Kazujun. Tian Xia World Guide states that the nation is led by the Nyenreng Conclave.

Heroes of the High Court 19 described the ruling council of elders as being more interested in art, culture, and social justice than the usually petty concerns of aristocracy. This description is not used for the Nyenreng Conclave in Tian Xia World Guide 222. The canon status of this assertion is unknown. -Oznogon (talk) 21:40, 26 October 2024 (UTC)
