Template talk:External

From PathfinderWiki

I think we should probably add a "source" attribute to this so that we can provide a link to when we originally found them image. —Aeakett 00:25, 20 March 2011 (UTC)

I was thinking of that as well. Perhaps also a link to a disclaimer here on this site that the image may not be part of the CUP, but that it is taken from a legal place on the web (like an artist's portfolio) and is not to be added to the wiki database? —Yoda8myhead 00:30, 20 March 2011 (UTC)
Yeah, that too. To be honest, this all seems a little sketchy to me. Usually hot-linking to images on other sites is considered bad form. I'm thinking that we might get a terse, if polite message form deviantart some day over this.
As an aside, we might just wrap up the whole img tag into this template, streamlining the markup. —Aeakett 00:45, 20 March 2011 (UTC)
That's kind of why when i suggested it, I thought of it similar to the spoiler tag (see my userpage for what I was thinking) -- Cpt kirstov 04:21, 20 March 2011 (UTC)
