Temple of the Vermillion Snake

The Temple of the Vermillion Snake is a burial site located in the Gozarin Necropolis of Osirion. It is named for the red-orange stone used to construct its winding passages.

Osirionologists cannot determine who is buried within, since the inscriptions have been defaced for centuries. Scholars and members of the Pathfinder Society have sent numerous adventurers to investigate who is buried within the tomb, but those who have returned at all come back scarred, burned, and without their tongues. They tell stories of undead giants wrapped in black bandages that burned with purple flames.
