Tulvhatha is a will-o'-wisp who dedicated her life to savouring the fear of the dying and the tormented.1

Appearance

Tulvhatha appears as a floating ball of light, with a faint impression of a skull hovering inside. Her eye sockets are shaped like the eyes of her patron Nhimbaloth.2

Background

After receiving a vision from Nhimbaloth, Tulvhatha gathered a small, loyal cult and led them to the Glade of Silver Sparks deep in the Mushfens, a beacon for lost souls watched over by three yamah servants of Ashava and powered by the artifact known as the Soul Spark. Tulvhatha killed two of the guardians and forced the survivor Luvyire to retreat to nearby Magnimar, then used the Soul Spark to turn the surrounding swamp into a nightmarish, haunted place.1

To sate her appetites for destruction, Tulvhatha then turned toward Magnimar, sending her minions to corrupt more monuments and hunt down Luvyire. Her actions drew the attention of Venture-Captain Sheila Heidmarch, who sent a team of Pathfinders into the Mushfens to kill Tulvhatha, restoring the Mushfens and allowing the lost souls to find their way to the Boneyard.13
