Xadvatharium is the leader of a group of moon giants who have regularly visited the Hollow Hills twice per year for many centuries to watch particular stellar and lunar patterns. If the residents of Longshadow obstruct their view with smog by not temporarily shutting down foundries and smelters when they pass through, the giants are agitated, and while they rarely attack, their empathic emanations have agitated numerous other monsters in doing so. Xadvatharium has carved lunar records into his flesh for centuries, and he believes that only one more cycle is needed to decipher the mystery researched by his cult.
