- A faithless Desnan astronomer of Thassilon calls out to other divine entities and is responded to by the Ashen Man, who grants him an artifact of the Dominion of the Black known as the Void Mirror. He flees his fellow Desnans to what is now known as Ravounel, gazes into the Mirror, and becomes possessed by an aberration named Tchekuth. The Desnans seal him and the Mirror in caverns and protect the site until -5098 AR.1
