1542 AR in conflicts

• A man claiming to be the uncrowned Menedes XXVII✝ arrives in Absalom, asking to purchase land on which to build a monument to his disgraced ancestors. The ziggurat, later named Sun Scarab's Keep, was constructed several miles away within sight of the city. The man was slain when he attempted to force Absalom to aid him in his bid to reclaim Osirion; this event became known as the Sun Scarab Siege.
