- The dwarven hero Khadon the Mighty finally defeats the orc inhabitants of the Five Kings Mountains at the Battle of Splitmist Pass after 82 years of conflict. Khadon personally kills orc leader Tarkdok Manyspears,1 whose body is put on display as a deterrent against any further orc incursions.23
