Big Slip

On 21 Desnus of 4141 AR, all halfling slaves living in the Sargavan capital of Eleder vanished overnight without a trace. The event, later dubbed the Big Slip, made a mockery of Eleder's law enforcers and led to a government ban on transporting further halfling slaves to the Chelish colony in order to prevent a future occurrence of the same.

Sargavan nobles hired Aspis Consortium agents to track down and return the lost slaves but failed to find any solid leads, instead reporting only tales spread locally of small forest-dwelling peoples—rumors that were connected to the Song'o, among whom live halflings who resemble those of Avistani descent, decades after the Big Slip.
