Castle of the Green Feather

The Castle of the Green Feather was the flying castle of the knights of the Order of the Green Feather. It could easily transport legions across long distances. The castle is thought to have survived Earthfall, but shortly thereafter the arcane magic keeping it aloft failed, and the fortress crash-landed on the Kodar Mountains near the modern-day northern border of Varisia.✝ Some of the knights of the Order of the Green Feather were turned into graveknights and liches upon death, and they continue to guard their sacred fortress and serve the Peacock Spirit today.12

History

Following the completion of the temple of Sech Nevali after 177 years of labor, Xanderghul—envious that his own realm of Cyrusian no longer had Thassilon's grandest temple to the Peacock Spirit—ordered the castle's construction in -6155 AR to surpass it. The castle was completed within three years.3
