Category usage

This discussion predated this category's move from "Category:Real world categories".

A couple points:

This is my doing: I set this category up simply to remove all categories that were not Golarion related out of Category:Categories and I would like that purity to be maintained in the future. Looking at Category:Real-world articles it is older and unloved with respect to its subcategories - it certainly needs a good sorting as well. Yoda set it up, by the looks of it, to replace a previous long-winded category. The whole non-Golarion category structure doesn't look good and could do with sprucing up (there is a Category:Meta too even higher than Category:Categories for some reason unknown to me, but that also has a selection of real world categories albeit more wiki maintenance related stuff). This non-Golarion material has never even made it to my to-do list though, so please dive in if you want, especially as your auto-templates have brought a lot of good structure into this area recently. It looks like a three-trunked structure of Golarion, non-Golarion and Maintenance categories might work? On the first point, 'real world' needs no hyphen, so that's probably why I called it that. --Fleanetha (talk) 19:33, 18 December 2015 (UTC)
I retract that last point, 'real-world' as an adjective does need a hyphen and that's its use here. Can that be botted in? --Fleanetha (talk) 15:46, 10 December 2016 (UTC)
