Coal-Dark was [Black-Eye Benbem's first mate. In 4709 AR, Coal-Dark grew weary of the pointless savagery of the notorious Benbem, so slit her captain's throat and took over the Screaming Reaver. Her base of operations is Fort Benbem on Pangalley Atoll in the Shackles.[1]
