Fernus Alanders is a shepherd who grazes his flock of sheep in the hills north of Zimar in Taldor. Most evenings he may be found in the bar of the Lion Sleeps Inn, usually with his drinking chum, Besco Drummon. These two shepherds are notorious for their tall tales of nonsense, which sometimes dupe gullible guests as they are loudly proclaimed; lycanthropes are their favourite subject.
