Hortenza is a thoroughly evil witch residing in a large home in the Isgeri capital city of Elidir, next door to the Temple of Nocticula. Guarding her property is a very large snake called Hothet. With the wizard Baalariot, Hortenza had a daughter named Galathea, though relations with the wizard are ever strained.
