"Krunzle the Quick", a short story by Hugh Matthews, was released as Pathfinder Tales web fiction in February and March 2012 and as a compiled eBook in July 2012. The story is a tie-in to Matthews's Pathfinder Tales novel, Song of the Serpent and takes its name from the novel's protagonist, Krunzle the Quick.

After a botched job, the talented rogue Krunzle the Quick finds himself in the involuntary employ of the wizard Baalariot. Placed under a geas, Krunzle has no choice but to dive into a the thick of a magical rivalry. Caught between a witch, a wizard, and a budding romance, the master thief will need to find a way to steal back his most valuable possession—his own freedom.
