Infernal Compact

The contract between Asmodeus and House Thrune that established diabolic rule over Cheliax is commonly referred to as the Infernal Compact. The contract's terms grant the forces of Hell and Asmodeus's aid to House Thrune until the ends of their bloodlines in exchange for, at a minimum, the worship of Asmodeus across Cheliax.

The independent Infernal Inquisition of Cheliax, which first serves Asmodeus over mortal affairs, also persecutes any subversion of the Infernal Compact.
