Karakah often treats the gods like neighbours or people he just chatted with in a tavern, offending traditionalist worshippers and amusing fellow devotees of Hei Feng. He has organised two dozen impromptu celebrations and street fairs, providing Hei Feng's priests with an opportunity to preach and allowing the faith to rapidly gain popularity, particularly among sailors who might want to worship a deity who is not impartial or violent (like Gozreh) or criminal (like Besmara).

Karakah is currently escalating the conflict between Tartushi, a priestess of Gozreh, and Jorry Slimfin, a priest of Besmara, by throwing jibes and using illusion magic.
