Edition-specific mechanical differences
In Pathfinder First Edition, healing magic was defined as a subschool of the conjuration school of magic.1 In Second Edition prior to the Pathfinder Remaster, magical healing was practically never associated with conjuration, and almost always performed part of the necromancy school, such as lay on hands,2 or occasionally by other schools such as enchantment. -Descriptivist, 04:01, 30 August 2024
- The Remaster removed mechanics for schools of magic. Healing spells have their own Second Edition trait that classifies them independently of other mechanical distinctions. -Oznogon (talk) 03:08, 18 September 2024 (UTC)
