Count Pavel Elvanna is the consort to Duchess Weneschia Elvanna, ruler of the province of Bleakmarch in Irrisen. The duchess and the count hold court in the massive castle called the Tiered Keep in Algidheart. Count Pavel is the commander of the city guard stationed in the broad expanses of open ground before the Tiered Keep. He is a skilled summoner and his huge, black, bat-like eidolon—believed to be summoned from the Shadow Plane—often circles the castle.[1]
