Quendle Strikrunner is a Chelaxian opera prima donna, composer, conductor, and general proprietor of the Warius Opera House in Egorian, Cheliax, which is both a performance venue and a shop where musical and artistic paraphernalia can be purchased. She has a dangerous temper and stories of her attacking musicians who disappoint her are as famous as the excellence of the performances themselves.1

Her temper is real, but much of the rest of her image is carefully crafted. She projects an air of being self-centered, excessively talkative, and vain, but this is partially a facade to conceal that she is a skilled businesswoman and scout for artistic talent, and to make her work in those respects easier. Those she identifies as talented and up-and-coming may receive her patronage, often in the form of personal lessons without the astronomical prices she usually charges.1

She has signed a Thrune contract with Queen Abrogail II which removes her ability to speak or sing anything anti-Chelaxian, and of course damns her, but in exchange gives her a constant intuitive sense of the whims of the Egorian artistic scene.2
