The resurrect ritual attempts to return the soul of a deceased creature to its mortal body. It works on creatures whose remains are mostly intact and have been dead for less than one year, and works only on beings whose souls have not yet been judged by Pharasma and are willing to return.
Casting the ritual requires at least three casters to devote at least one full day's time, as well as a collection of valuable gemstones corresponding to the being's power. Heightened attempts to complete the ritual can resurrect more powerful creatures, creatures who have few or no physical remains, or creatures who died more than one year prior.12
