Saddlebark Ranch is a breeder and trainer of faerie mounts and Taldan corgis located in the foothills of the Kortos Mounts on the Isle of Kortos. Its proprietor is Timblethorn Baublebrand, who launched the ranch after recognizing that riding dogs were more surefooted than axebeaks or camels in the Mounts.

Once an innovator, Saddlebark was as of 4720 AR merely one of a dozen such ranches in the region, and the Aspis Consortium had been bullying ranchers and acquiring property for a cut of the business.
