Talk:Baku

Dragon classification

Tian Xia World Guide describes Baku exclusively as a kaiju in his single paragraph on page 139. Tian Xia Character Guide 96 briefly mentions Baku as part of the history of a local Minatan hero, but describes him as a "great dragon". Similarly, the bakuwa lizardfolk ancestry feat, Mooneater (AoN), describes calling on the spirit of a dragon. Because the instances in Tian Xia Character Guide largely seem to be focused on the legendary legacy Baku left behind while Tian Xia World Guide seems to more directly describe the objective history of Minata, I favored the World Guide account while considering the Character Guide dragon classification a cultural one. --Ravenstone (talk) 18:28, 4 February 2025 (UTC)

Disambiguation needed

I just realized that baku is also a creature unrelated to Baku, the Moon Eater and has already been linked to in places such as Category:Images of bakus which currently incorrectly leads to this page on the kaiju. I am unsure how best to fix this. -Ravenstone (talk) 20:05, 8 February 2025 (UTC)

This happens, Ravenstone, and we have a well-established way of dealing with such occurrences: have a look at PathfinderWiki:Disambiguation. In this case, as you've created the page for the kaiju, we can make that the master and the magical best can get a parenthetical disambiguation. We can then link the pages. I'll do this now so you can see what's needed. --Fleanetha (talk) 00:10, 9 February 2025 (UTC)
