Spoilers
I've redirected the citations on this page from the Age of Ashes AP to the Mwangi Expanse book (specifically, the player-facing People of the Mwangi) to emphasise that the history in question is basic background and not spoilers for the Age of Ashes AP. (Pretty sure that the currently-hidden citations should be unhidden in the future, but even without them the citation is adequate.) - HTD (talk) 03:00, 20 December 2021 (UTC)
- I don't think hiding valuable citations is a good way to handle spoilers: it's going to mess up the wiki if that method is scaled across it. I've reinstated both the citations and the spoiler banner that LadyKjell added for a reason. This is spoiler territory for me, so am not investigating further. Currently, one editor considers material a spoiler for the Age of Ashes AP and one does not. --Fleanetha (talk) 11:54, 28 August 2022 (UTC)
- Of course it wasn't going to be a permanent arrangement. I temporarily hid the citations from the AP and redirected them to the player material in The Mwangi Expanse to prove that it is in fact safe for people who haven't played the AP to read the article without being spoiled (not that it's going to make a difference at this point). - HTD (talk) 00:55, 3 September 2022 (UTC)
- Also, I don't think I've seen any reason (edit or otherwise) that explains why this is exactly a spoiler. Feels like when one editor declares something a spoiler then all dissenting voice will be ignored (for fear of being spoiled or something). - HTD (talk) 04:29, 28 February 2023 (UTC)
