Suggestions [COMPLETED]

I'll keep off the page as it's new and may not be finished yet, so I'll add suggestions here for small sections or comments for adding to this excellent new page:

  • portfolio - a key area of what makes one god different from another
  • holy and unholy symbols - probably we can redirect now those needed pages to this page
  • weapon
  • sacred colours and sacred animals - ditto
  • holidays
  • holy / unholy texts
  • dead gods

I'm working on it, but I haven't put {{WIP}} on it. Feel free to add what you want. -Oznogon (talk) 22:20, 14 September 2015 (UTC)
I am a patient sort; looks good so far but piling in with ideas from other source books too to pull it all here. --Fleanetha (talk) 17:25, 15 September 2015 (UTC)

Tidy-up please

This page is getting untidy. I'll refrain from a cleanup badge as it's the article of the week according to the bot. To start, I just removed one raw list and replaced it with a link to the core deity list, which avoids this list going out of sync when something changes, and reduced the space used by the other raw lists by making them form columns.

I do not see any reason to have the 'Other deities of the Inner Sea region' list and am inclined to delete it, as it is completely superseded and bettered by the navbox on the page, in line with modern practice of favouring navboxes over raw lists. However, it's accreted a vast array of comments! These questions are clutter - I think they are better posed please on the discussion page where they can be answered and managed properly or even on the Discord for a quick question. For many, I am clueless why they've been added anyway, so cannot act on them. If they are for adding new material, again, we have the Meta pages to manage that. If they are refs for the material, we have Refs to handle that. Can they be tidied up / move before I delete the list please?

I added back the {Cite canon change/Osirian pantheon} as something has happened and, when that is clarified, the canon change template can be updated, so all the refs to the pantheon get the update. --Fleanetha (talk) 19:08, 26 November 2024 (UTC)
