PSS 28, Lyrics of Extinction, refers to the city as Dokeran, and puts it on a different river. I imagine a Pathfinder Chronicles/Campaign Setting product trumps a Pathfinder Society Scenario even if it was the Scenario which came up with the idea in the first place, so I haven't added a conflict tag.--Amethal2 00:43, 4 January 2011 (UTC)

I'm a bit of an inclusionist and would say that if the two don't conflict then we should assume that they both exist. —Aeakett 02:53, 4 January 2011 (UTC)
They are clearly the same place, as the history of Dokeran in the PSS is the same as the history of Dokaren in HotJ, including the name of the guy who destroyed the place, the artefact he did it with, and the fact that the villain now lives underneath the city. --Amethal2 16:28, 4 January 2011 (UTC)
Ah, in that case the Chronicles line trumps. It's probably best to still indicate a conflict though. —Aeakett 18:33, 4 January 2011 (UTC)
And now to complicate matters Artifacts & Legends takes the spelling 'Dokeran' so both are equally supported - I'll amend the text accordingly and add a redirect.--Fleanetha (talk) 16:26, 1 November 2012 (UTC)
I've just noticed that the Inner Sea World Guide goes with Dokeran; I think that should be the one we use--Amethal2 (talk) 13:46, 4 January 2013 (UTC)

Agreed. I'm changing it to "Dokeran" ... a year later. --Brandingopportunity (talk) 07:11, 5 February 2014 (UTC)

and 2e The Mwangi Expanse 158 goes back to Dokaren. No wonder it's a ruin. --Fleanetha (talk) 12:10, 22 October 2023 (UTC)
I have standardized across the wiki on 'Dokeran' for now, with a clear note re the variant here and on the page. That should make it simpler were we to want to change to the alternative spelling later. --Fleanetha (talk) 15:11, 22 October 2023 (UTC)
