Talk:Freedom Town/Conflicts
Location
The Hold of Belkzen map on Skeletons of Scarwall 60 depicts Freedom Town as being in Belkzen, due east of Urgir, northeast of and close to Ghostlight Marsh, and not near any river. Harchrist's Blockade is depicted as passing just southeast of Freedom Town. This position is similar to the abstract map on the inside front cover of Belkzen, Hold of the Orc Hordes and the locator map on In Glorious Battle 3, including the absence of any nearby river.
Towns of the Inner Sea 55 describes Freedom Town as "a town ... just inside the Hold of Belkzen".
The Route to Redlake Fort map on The Hill Giant's Pledge 16 depicts Freedom Town as being in Belkzen, on the southern banks of an unnamed river near its source, and southeast of Urgir. This position is similar to the one depicted on the Inner Sea Poster Map Folio.
The town map on Belkzen, Hold of the Orc Hordes 24 depicts Freedom Town as being entirely on the southwestern banks of a bend in the Aren River.
Because of the town map in Belkzen, Hold of the Orc Hordes depicting it being on a river's banks, PathfinderWiki's map uses the position from Tier 1 The Hill Giant's Pledge. Due to many other conflicts in the area's borders, the wiki's map might inconsistently place Freedom Town in or on the borders of any of the three nearby nations of Belkzen, Lastwall/Gravelands, or Ustalav. -Oznogon (talk) 21:58, 6 September 2024 (UTC)
- The Resurrection Flood inside front cover map's location is identical to the Belkzen, Hold of the Orc Hordes map's, with the same inconsistencies. Its position is not changed due to the continuing conflict with the older, equal tier, and more detailed The Hill Giant's Pledge. This conflict is now unresolvable without an official clarification. -Oznogon (talk) 00:45, 8 November 2024 (UTC)
