Is there a naming convention for articles on geographical features? Should the Vanji River be under Vanji River, or just Vanji? I'm starting to think that the best way to do it is to use the name as it appears on the pull out map in the Campaign Setting, except for removing any initial "The".--Amethal2 22:57, 16 July 2009 (UTC)

We generally do it just the way you propose, either using the map or text in sourcebook as the determining factor. And, as a rule, "The" should always be removed from the start of an article unless it is a book title or another specific situation that requires it to remain. Places where we run into shady territory are rivers like "The Crook" and "The Asp" in Osirion. I don't even remember off the top of my head how we handled those, if we even have yet. But for Vanji River, you're good to name it just that. -- yoda8myhead 23:18, 16 July 2009 (UTC)
'The Happy Fellow' was moved to just 'Happy Fellow' not quite the same as it is a name of a person (imaginary) and not a geographical location, but still semi relevant -- Cpt kirstov 05:12, 17 July 2009 (UTC)

I'm going to go ahead and merge the Southern Garund section into the rest of the article above for the sake of consistency. If anyone objects to this, feel free to revert, or let me know and I will revert.--Filby 06:09, 11 September 2011 (UTC)
