Proposal to move [CONCLUDED]

Please discuss the proposed move here. -Oznogon (talk) 20:14, 29 November 2018 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I'll start one. If Bahor becomes the primary article name and Glorio Arkona is the redirect, the spoiler becomes unavoidable-the name itself is the spoiler. I think this is sufficient to be an exception to our naming conventions unless there's some agreement that the spoiler is no longer a concern. -Oznogon (talk) 19:30, 8 December 2018 (UTC)Reply[reply]
We have spoiler conversations in a number of places now + Discord. I'll set up a discussion area on the Forum, I think, to pull things together. --Fleanetha (talk) 18:36, 16 December 2018 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I agree with Oznogon. Bahor should redirect to Glorio. The spoiler is still a concern. New people come into the hobby all the time and will play Curse of the Crimson Throne. Also, in in-world terms, the overwhelming majority of people in Korvosa know him as Glorio, so that name should carry some weight. We're also not dealing with a "Darth Vader is Luke's father" situation here, where anyone over the age of 8 is aware of the spoiler. Only people who have read or played through the AP know this information. --Brandingopportunity (talk) 22:43, 19 December 2018 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Worth noting: related PathfinderWiki talk:Naming conventions and PathfinderWiki talk:Canon policy proposals on redirects and true names. -Oznogon (talk) 00:15, 20 December 2018 (UTC)Reply[reply]
There is art for this character which I have added to the page, but commented out for now, as it is a rather large spoiler in itself. When this is resolved, we can decide what to do with it. --Fleanetha (talk) 22:29, 15 January 2019 (UTC)Reply[reply]

With the update to the spoiler policy about redirects, this debate is concluded and the page and art are now as they should be under the new policy. --Fleanetha (talk) 16:33, 5 December 2019 (UTC)Reply[reply]
