Inscriptions

I am not sure where the sentences concerning inscriptions should be cited to (they were in the article before I edited it). I did not see mention of them in the Osirion Legacy of Pharaohs book, although I could have missed it, or it is in the "Land of Pharaohs" book instead. ~LD~. January 9, 2020.

Repeated wikilinking to pseudonyms

We don't really address this in the style guide, but it seems odd to me to link three times to the same article from different links. Here there are links from Pharaoh of No Rain, Lich Pharaoh, and An-Hepsu XI, all of which lead to the same article–An-Hepsu XI. I think that it's great to include the extra flavor of the different names a pharaoh might have in articles throughout the wiki, but I also feel that we should try to find a way to do so that won't be confusing. As it stands here, it's not clear that all three of these pharaohs are actually one and the same. -- yoda8myhead 19:53, 22 August 2009 (UTC)

Sure. Reading through Osirion, Land of the Pharaohs, it is clear that An-Hepsu XI is the Pharaoh of No Rain, and it obliquely refers to him as the Lich Pharaoh as well. One problem is the text tends to refer to varying titles rather than names, only cross-referencing the titles in certain places: the Labyrinth of Shiman-Sekh refers to the Pharaoh of No Rain on p. 6, but the section on the Pyramid of An-Hepsu XI makes clear he is the Pharaoh of No Rain on p.9. Of course, then it casts doubt on whether An-Hepsu even has a pyramid at all. ;) Goblin Witchlord 20:14, 22 August 2009 (UTC)
